![]() PS.: It will take a long time if you start at low value but every chip is different and I would not risk going way too far in case yours does not undervolt as nicely as others. You may find this useful once you find the correct voltage you can undervolt (test at first with xtu before using other programs) Do know that XTU does not apply undervolt on startup so when you find the sweet spot you will either have to use another program to undervolt with the same values or boot up xtu and apply the settings every time you reboot. Windows 10 does a good job of keeping your PC in shape, but if you want to prevent slow boot times, system crashes, or other computing ills, and add new functionality, download a tune-up utility. Remember which setting you used last and increase the voltage slightly again (say -135 crashes it, go with -130) then test again. If you overdo it, it will crash with blue screen but as long as it is not too overdone it will just reboot and be fine. Pyhodi 3.5in Computer Temp Monitor, PC Temperature Display with Holder, Live Readouts GPU Internet Speed Weather Visual Theme Editor, PC Sensor Panel Display, PC CPU RAM HDD Data Monitor. Here, you can see the GPU temp, GPU usage, memory clock speed, and CPU temperature. Undervolting using xtu should be fine, just pick a relatively safe value for your cpu (even though some undervolt it with over -100mV I would start at maybe -50 or -70, test if stable using xtu's cpu test and then increase in small steps). Click on the Monitor icon to view Hardware Monitor. Otherwise you will have to call up msi and rma the thing since 95 is pretty high and can lead to thermal throttling (loss of performance, freezes, frame drops etc) or even to damage to the hardware over longer period of time. Set your fans higher (use cooler booster or just use advanced settings and bump it up all the way at hottest point in dragon center), you can undervolt it using xtu or some other program (may need to be applied manually every time you reboot), you can repaste it with premium paste (could void warranty though). I agree that 95 is quite high but tbh, without sport mode you are not getting full performance out of that i7. High performance (sport) keeps it at highest frequency at all times, comfort ranges from minimum to maximum and eco will keep the cpu speeds low. Removed the INNOCN 27M2V and added the Gigabyte M27U and Gigabyte GS27QC to Notable Mentions. Removed the Best Cheap monitor category, as it was very close in price to Best Budget. These settings bring differences in frequency, thus temperature and also performance. Feb 28, 2024: Replaced the Gigabyte M27U with the Acer Nitro XV275K P3biipruzx as the Best 27-Inch Monitor, as it has better performance. ![]() sport uses high performance in windows, comfort is balanced mode and eco is power saver. There are differences in temps because the power options are different for each setting.
